Who here plays Pokemon?

I fired up Silver recently for the first time in about 8 years.

I need to find my old copy of gold. While I do enjoy my copy of Heartgold, nothing beats the classic versions.

Although the GBsounds item in HG/SS is rather nostalgic.

Ruby. Best one out there. But i enjoy all of them. If its pokemon, i like

There's a period from about 14-19 years old where admitting to enjoying Pokémon is tantamount to admitting being a frequent practitioner of autofellatio. I'm glad I'm old enough now that when I say the games are actually good, people actually think I'm competent enough to listen to my reasons why. Still, you won't find me running through the mall yelling "I LOVE POKÉMON!"

Mmm, i think im far to old of pokemon now. When i was younger i really liked it though. Maybe from the ages of like 12-16. I liked red, and blue. I had yellow too. I also had gold when that came out, but swapped it with my mate for silver. I was pretty damn good at the games, and i used to like the tv shows too. But like i said, its a distant thing of the past for me now (although i think i still have silver somewhere with my ultimate team).

Typhlosion - L58, Scyther - L58, Arbok - L58, Nidoqueen - L58, Starmie - L58, and........OMG! DRAGONITE! L59 DRAGONITE! hehe, Dragonite <3. wow this brings back a few memories

OMG The memories!!!! Pokemon.... I did love that game. But I think they ruined it once the Pearl and Diamond came out. Plus, I outgrew it sadly. I was tempted to get the new Johto versions though, cause one of my favorite series. From what I remember, I have the Special Yellow version (first one and best), with my lvl 100 Pikachu, then I got Crystal, then Ruby and Emerald, then finally got old for it at Pearl. But I agree with Nick. I still have a love for the game, but you won't see me running around screaming "I AM A POKEMON FAN! I LOVE IT!! I AM A DORK! xD"

Also lvl 100 Charizard, lvl 100 Kingdra, lvl 100 Tryanitar, lvl 100 Aggron and lvl 100 Celebi FTFW!! (For the Fuc/<ing win!!!!)

If you truly love a game, there is no outgrowing it.

Gold and silver were the best versions gameplay and pokemon-wise (oh and the music was wonderful too ). But Ruby,sapphire, and emerald had the best game world. Hoenn had some nice route designs and was not irritating to get around.

I currently am playing Heartgold and have beaten all the gyms and the elite four twice (the second time being the rematch where their teams are reworked and have higher levels.).

My team currently is Espeon lv 100, Lanturn lv 100, Umbreon lv 100, Crobat lv 100, Glaceon lv 100, and Garchomp lv 100.

As for legendaries, I prefer jirachi as a psychic type legendary, or better yet, latias (I played sapphire first out of the advance generation and thus i got latias). My favorite legendary of all is Kyogre, it can learn thunder , thunder never misses in rain, which it brings out when it appears in battle .

There's a difference between knowing how to administer punishments and how to speak well.

My fav legendary pokeman would sorta be..heh my fav would be all of em even if Lucario dont count

@ Sebb I've hated the Anime for as long as I can remember, probably because the only english dubbing of it that I had easy access to was done by 4kids, which is notorious for turning a perfectly good anime into something increedibly cheesy.

@Grim, Ninja is right about the difference between knowing what to say, and how to administer punishments.

Also, in regards to your last post:
Lucario is the evolution of Riolu. Get Riolu to a high enough friendship level, and level it up during the day to evolve it into Lucario. Lucario is not a legendary pokemon.

Now then, for the new stuff
I'm going to work on a spikes team. The idea of this team will be to force the foe to switch out as much as possible when the spikes are down. The cornerstone of this strategy will be using spikes, toxic spikes, and roar, and using gravity to make flying types and those with levitate affected by the spikes.
