lags and fps are different.
Lags are caused by the internet connexion : if it's low, the response time i very high, and it makes lag. But only connexion can make it.
The shiny and glowy textures are shaders, and those can make fps bad. But yavin makes people have bad fps because the hangar for example is very large. So the game has to calculate more things than in a little room. So it makes people have bad fps.
But the server can have effect on fps too : if the comp has more things to calculate about the server settings and etc, it has less memory available for fps, so it's low. But that depends of comps : good comps don't have those problems.
