I can't get gtk radiant working

i tried running it as compatibility but it doesn't work it doesn't show the grid or anything i can't make any shapes at all and i was planning to do a map i have windows 7 btw so if any of u guys know how to work radiant on windows 7 that would be great

if u have windows 7 u need to change the theme to windows 7 basic

you dont but i dont remember let me take a look and ill will post

first go to

file>project settings>mapping mode and change it to multiplayer mapping mode>press ok

then go to

edit>preferences>paths and make sure its going to your base folder
