| the parse packet, and the version 7 when expecting 6 is the version patch. at least that is what i have found. make sure you have the correct patch . you probably had 1.03 and tried to get into a 1.02a server. if not, then i have no idea. as far as the top error, i dont know, never seen that one. before you try and launch jk2, check your base folder for assets0, 1, 2 and 5. if you are missing one, it was the install that didn't give you all assets.pk3's. if you tried to uninstall reinstall multiple times, and still cant get all assets, use xfire and find someone that has all assets.pk3's and just save to desktop. copy to base folder, but leave them on your desktop, in case you have to reinstall again for a different problem. at least you will have the assets on your desktop for future reference. hope this helps

| About the configstrings, i guess you shall go to the game directory and delete the "jk2mpconfig.cfg" and the "jkconfig.cfg" files for re-setting the game settings (video, audio, controls and binds...), Because the file might be too big than the expected size of the filestring (i mean the content of the file is too big than the definition itself). | |

| There are multiple ways to avoid using the CD without using EVC. It's not an excuse. | |
