Xaso really there is worse music out there on youtube videos. Love the still images Abrum seems really good and a brilliant map.

kernow, i think you misunderstood: i cant watch the video... because abrum added music to it.
i cant watch the video because of the music. so i cant hear the music as well.
i just said i think its shit that ppl always have to add some copyrighted stuff on their vids...

ok i have downloaded and tested it.
again the sky thingy is great! and the fps are cool.

but there still are force boons... when we last used a mod with force boons we had total chaos about them... i think its better without them.
and then, a funny thing: the rain is ok, a very stormy rain, but cool. but in courtyard you can jump OVER the rain. just jump on one of the pillars and you stand above the rain and you can see it moving from one side to another xP

but the problem, why i cant upload it is this:
the bsp of the map is also named yavin_temple and im afraid it will be a problem for the server to figure out that we have 2 yavin temples. it does open bsps, no matter what the pk3 name is. so uploading this mod now would prevent us from using the unmodded yavin temple...
is it possible to rename the bsp of a mod? or would it destroy the purpose of a mod? means: would renaming the bsp require client download?

if yea, is there a possibility to change in game, between the mods of yavin temple? i mean, like if we would switch maps? you get what i mean?

Well if the case happens to be that we can't have both, I think the obvious choice in the end would be this new one to replace our old yavin_temple. I mean, come on, it's weather and sunrise/sunset!

Replacing the .bsp name would indeed require a client download. As for jumping over the rain, it was designed with players dueling on the ground and flip kicking in mind. Adding rain higher up would only lag people.

Also note: Boons do not show up on your server! Unless you guys have a yavin_temple without boons that I don't know about... I was in radiant for hours and saw boons on the yavin_temple you where using, but none on your server. Your server has them disabled.

Also note: the .pk3 you have on your server is yavin_temple.pk3. The .pk3 I uploaded is ZZZYavin_Temple.pk3. So here's how it will work: The server loads assets.pk3 because a comes before y, then it will load yavin_temple .pk3 because of the y. then it will load my remod, ZZZYavin_Temple because of the Zs. So if you want to go back to the Darthshoot remod, remove ZZZYavin_Temple.pk3 and restart the map, it WILL load the original Darthshoot's yavin_temple.pk3.

Love the Rain, but the random explosions that are supposed to be thunder needs to be fixed, and i wonder if u can lightning along with it Tehe

maybe could you put a light change cycle, according to the sky ? Like a discreasing light from day to sunset and etc, and increasing light from dawn to day, or something like that. Could you ?

Not possible, the way I think you mean. I could, however, change textures to darker ones when it turns night, lighter when day. I can only work with textures to obtain that effect.

Like, on night you put the sun light to 0, and lower a bit the sky light, see ?

Can't do that, not even with a client download. I'm pretty positive, not sure though... I can change the stone and grass in the map to a darker texture though, not much else.

The rain is amazing, Abrum. With it, these cycles remind me of Star Wars Galaxies. Great job, this is so cool.

As feedback, I agree with Sind that the explosion noise that's in place of a lightning strike is too far off from the noise it's supposed to represent, so personally I think it would be better to remove it. The other rumbling sounds are just fine. I also agree with Aju that manipulating the apparent light with the cycles would be cool, although it's not a huge deal except at night.

The biggest thing I would be interested in is toning down or removing the sounds when you're deep inside a building. I have a feeling this is certainly impossible, but it would add a lot of realism if there is a way to do it. The hangar and elevator room would have no sound or barely audible sound, and the temple / training areas would be between that and the outside level.

Again, awesome job.

Thanks! I will consider adding individual target_speakers, if I am correct, this will not decrease performance at all.
