I had a steady stream of duels today; first with Boss, then with Vrook, Kernie, a certain Padawan; MocynX (and those left unmentioned) and, last but not least, Dudeman. Sure, vanilla fighting is fun, but not quite enough.
How about a wager ?
*snaps fingers*Easier said then done, thinking about
an actual thing to bet is harder than it seems; although nothing a third party (read: Snake) can't solve. Now, I'm not sure who said it out loud (Snake, I think), but we decided on the following: if I win, Dudeman joins SoL. If he wins, I join GKE under the rank Janitor. Win-win.
We moved to training, where a grand amount of spectators had gathered; splendid cuisine, lots of wine. After some confusion, the winning condition was set as "first to win thrice". And, as stars in the spotlight of fame, we fought !
the silent, ancient masters watching over our spiritsI won. Needless to say, the loss condition was rather painful to Dudeman, as he's already in a clan he likes and shit. That's why, it got changed (that would be too cruel) !
Never been in a guild, none hit me as "man, I really want to get in there". There's an abundance of them, but why not make another one ? Especially if it's a no-force one. That's right, fellas, a big fish has just joined the ranks of ThC and... JJ, was it, among many others. All's good, but one matter was left undiscussed: the name.
A guild name has to catch the ears of players. Not too long, easy to remember, and what's crucial:
real classy. What comes to mind when you think about saber dueling ? Yep: FENCING. Communicating with Dudeman on the same wavelength, we had done half of the name.
But what goes with fencing ? Fencers of Doom (FoD) ? Fencing Frenzy (FF) ? Fencer's Respite (FR... they must be French) ? Autistic Fencers (gives off a bad vibe) ? Think: classy. Classy Fencers ? That's when Dudeman striked with the decisive blow: Classical Fencing. /CF/, letters in white, slashes matching colors.
Now we need to go find some good nf duelists and challenge them to a match. WITH THEIR JOINING THE GUILD ON THE STAKE ! Already caught a promising padawan.
Side note: hopefully we won't end up as a two-men guild. ;_;
