in game commands to help people out lol!

Okay alot of people seemed to forget when they lose their binds, lazy etc... about in game commands to help their ping, frame rate etc?

Is it possible for people to list them here so we dont forget in the future, i've had alot of requests about it from randoms..

rate 50000
com_maxfps 125
cg_drawfps 1
cg_lagometer 1
cl_maxpackets 50
cg_fov 100
cl_hunkmegs 128 / 256

Whatever. Like i have mentioned, these setting values from hektor depends from network to network. I recommend you to start trying with the rate value greater than 25000, the snaps a little greater than 20 and the maxpacket greater than 30. Try in steps, do not exaggerate the values with too high values.

Because
1. Your internet does not take it much
2. The server setting about its rate and maxpacket is limited
3. Because of those 2 reasons above it either goes worse or does not take any effects.

Btw, check and try to optimize your wifi network. I had this problem once with its speed and it is really ugly if you download and you lag like shite. Also cable usqge is the best way to have the same speed without much loss.

snaps 30 (any higher is pointless) [related to server's sv_fps 20/30]

rate 25000 (no reason to go any higher than this)

com_maxfps 125 (if not 125 use 90 or 73)

cg_drawfps 1 (you don't need this unless you like staring at your fps all day)

cg_lagometer 1 (good for seeing when you lag or if you have irregular lag spikes but unnecessary to play)

cl_maxpackets 63 (you can use 100 if you want difference doesn't matter) [if you want a lower ping but higher delay use 15]

cg_fov 100 (this helps you out in many ways but not for lag/delay, so is unnecessary but recommended)

cl_hunkmegs 128 (use minimum of 128, if you have a lot of RAM use 512) [do not use seta com_hunkmegs, this command is bad because it will only leave your hunkmegs you want "latched". Instead go into your base, dcmod, etc. folders, open jk2mpconfig.cfg with notepad or whatever you prefer, go to edit > find and type in com_hunkmegs, change the value from 64 to 512.

But note, whn you got a shitty internet connection like me, you have to lower the values. If anyone does floodingthe server, then i am the first disconnected.

Most of the commands stated above can be used with good/bad internet. As mantA stated above, just test things out. See what your internet will take.
