im so sick and bored of yavin tample...we need 2 have a new SP map! please suggest a new default SP map! I think that doom_detention would be an AWSOME default map for the server! cyclops

Agreed with BDL, doom_detention is an awesome map, and its huge. I think we could have alot of fun on there.

Bespin platform is ok, but it isnt a very big map. Primerally its just a excuse of a map, so that you can fight tavion in sp.

Guys im thinking of trying my hand at a little map making myself, but looking on the internet there appears to many different options and programs for doing such things, so which program is the best?

Well, half of me is in this side and the other in Outcast's. If you guys really, really want it, I can send you Bespin Streets (latest edition). But there must be something small in return, prove your good intentions by using my idea, it will make a lot of people happy. Just open one of your polls, it'll get votes, as long as it fits your political system. I would be happy to make a little interactive flash for you guys, to go with it. Plus I'll help anyone who wants to know more about how the idea would work.

Actually we do need a better sp map and i wanted to make a sp map from jka so any of you jka haters just don't spam about it sucking and stuff cuz jka has ALOT more maps,skins,mods,etc. and you're sayin it sucks...man you jka haters are so f***ed up

The thing is that we've already created a system of governance that uses your theme of multiple divisions coming together. The Council is composed of a set number of people from Server Admins, Forum Admins/Moderators, and Normal Members who have no administrative position. If we fully adopt your suggestion, it seems like it would mean scrapping the system we've already built for a new system that fulfills a very similar role. In the end, we will always choose the system that we believe is best for us, it would be against our morals to only do something for the gift that you would give us.

Unless I am reading your suggestion wrong, and it was meant to be a social division rather than an administrative one.

What I'm saying is that this political system we're creating is ours, because it's what we want and think will best serve our clan. While Abrum's offer of a map is a kind gesture, I don't think we should consider it when picking a political system. The only thing that matters when refining our political system is whether or not it best serves the members of our clan.

It is our good intentions that have led us to our current system. I'm sure the Council will examine your suggestion, but your offer of the map is unnecessary (although appreciated).

This is just something for fun, Very Happy. There would be no leaders of houses/teams/sub-clans or w/e. Just a organized group of social/talent cliques, one for any type of person.

Yes i was going to say Nick I interpreted Abrum's system as social element - it would have many pros I believe, fun times, stregthening the unity of members in each house and increasingly the competitive drive in house relations! Razz

The total tourny would be like the 'Quidditch House Cup' for houses - if i lost i root be rooting for my fellow house members still in! Razz

I like using Abrum's idea in a social setting.
