| Jedi Academy currently ordered, expecting delivery any day now. Got Knights of the Old Republic last week, and ive clocked a few hours on it. Totally different to Jk2, more of an RPG than a shoot 'em up like JK2, but an enjoyable and interesting game nontheless.
Im just looking for your opinions on both games?

| jka is useless.
kotor is very good game, i've finished it about 25 times, i like it very much, but the only issue is that it's a bit short :/ Last year, i've finished it once in 2 days lol. But if you discover it for first, go ahead, it's amazing game !

KOTOR is really weird, but I like it, it feels on a slightly different plain to typical Star Wars, because at the beginning you're running about with old fashioned swords rather than actual lightsabers, but the dialogue is quite heavy (something i like in my videogames) and some intresting charicters too. I would say the powers, commands, upgrades, weapons are all slightly confusing, mainly because there are so many of them, but overall I like the game alot. Im not very far though, Im only at the part where im in the down undergound sewers, looking for that Bastilla jedi girl. Im guessing this is not far into the game..

| You are far from beating it, my friend. if you like KOTOR, try the KOTOR 2. it has a more open experience. | |

| you're on taris, it's the very beggining, you ain't even a jedi yet ^^. But you'll see, when you become a jedi, the game becomes really really interesting, and as you said, the history is really well built, dialogues are good. | |

Seems like you got a lot of time on your hands. loL JKA looks ok, seems to be more eye candy over gameplay compared to jk2 in multiplayer. But I haven't mastered jka multilayer so idk. Single player was pretty weak, especially in comparison to jk2. They seem to have a lot of cool ideas, but there all pretty much eye candy. And the story line is fail. I beaten Kotor 2, it's pretty unique and such. Got a slow start, but gets addicting when it picks up somewhere in the middle. I only played like 5 minutes of Kotor. Looks like a downgraded version of Kotor 2.

| KOTOR is a very epic game. It's a masterpiece. I finished all kind of characthers: Siths, Jedis, Bountyhunter (guns & sword only) and as a scout with high technic skills. | |

Im just looking for your opinions on both games? JKA has amazing maps and textures. I love the new death animations and it has a better Star Wars atmosphere because you are able to wear the doublebladed lightsaber or dual lightsabers. The animations in JKA are unique and some of them is ninja animations when you are comming from behind and grapple your opponent and throwing him to the doom.

| I wouldnt say jka is useless =/ Each to there own i guess but its got some good points.
the new modes are great
2v1 dueling is great for training
the force is different with its bugs obviously
a major con id say is just noobs running around swinging there double ended and 2 handed sabers.
Siege is pretty sick once u get the hang of it.
The jka plus mod ruins it with the grapple as people abuse the shit outta it.
New moves are good but changing the rdfa is hard to get used to at first

New moves are good but changing the rdfa is hard to get used to at first The Katas is more powerful and is easier to perform than the red dfa in JKA MP. You need to be more precise and have good timing with it. In JK2 you don't.

| I'm like meh on that Phoenix A lot of techniques are extremely simple to use in jk3 xD It takes ages to master everything in jk2 ^_^ I just have to say that I really don't like jk3 - Though one thing I like about both jk2 and jk3/jka is that you can either battle and have intense fights, or just sit down and talk/chillout That is something no other games offers these days | |

| Double edged sabers do more dmg than a straight slash of a red saber, am i right or is that just coincidence? | |
