So sorry about not yet getting on JK2 while I have the internet to troubleshoot, (departure flight is on Wednesday 14th Oct :O), but I'm currently in BRISTOL TOWNN seeing my mates and generally having all sorts of revelry and not going to bed untill ridonkulous-o-clock. Last night was a tribute band to System of a Down, twas quite good!
Of course there is someone who a great many of you will remember, and will be happy to know, is alive and well. He's a legend of SoL, and I decided that seeing as I'm about to embark on the same expedition (and happen to be in the area), it would be worthwhile to grab a pint and some good ol pub Fish n Chips on the borders of South West England.
So after much advice for Australia, a good ol reminisce of JK2 times and a healthy couple pints. We thought it would be a good idea to share this as a milestone in SoL's communal expansion both online and off.

Good day friends, it's been a while.
Yes it's true, myself and Kernow met up for real a couple of weeks ago, watching him stride towards my car as he spotted me from the train station was undoubtedly one of the most surreal things I seen this year.
I never really envisioned I'd meet anybody from JK2 for real, over the years, numerous people have talked about it, but in reality it never happens... So imagine my surpise when Kernow popped up on Facebook a few weeks ago, saying he'd be in my neck of the wood, and that we should go for a cold beer. Alcohol and the company of SoL's finest, now how could I refuse that?
I moved from Newcastle to Bristol, in April. Bristol is south-west, Newcastle north-west, I'm practically the opposite end of the country, but as Kernow is a west-country boy, we are not particularly far apart, a meet up was perfectly feasable.
He's taller than Imagined, knocking on the door of 2 metres, but he needs to eat more
So we went to my local pub, for a well earned cider, and talked of travelling and work, favorite sports and pastimes, covered Star Wars and JK2, our personal preference of questionable substances, and tales of encounters with the opposite sex. It was a thrilling encounter, and I'm genuinely glad to have met the guy. It's just a shame we had to cut it short owing to my need to work.
As we speak, he has landed in Australia, as I did 4 years ago, primed to embark on the same great adventure I was privilaged to. I'm sure we'll be meeting again, once he's returned.
To the rest of you, I hope you're all doing well, I'm glad to see the clan, and game as a whole is still alive and kicking. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't mildly surpised, so kudos goes to all of you.
I'm afraid I can't herald any of you with a threat of a return, I have well and truly moved on now, but I wish everybody continued success, and hope JK2 continues to be as rewarding as it was for me, all that time ago.
