Jk2 problem

Hey i got a jk2 problem as some of you saw i always disconnect on our server or try to connect .
i also reinstalled jk2 here is what it says CL_ParseServerMessage: Illegible server message ore CL_PaeseServerMessage: bad command byte ore CL_ParseServerMessage: end of message i dont know what that means thats weird i can play in singleplayer mod ore multyplayer offline but on our server i still disconnect and i dont have any binds that let me quit ore disconnect! need help

Most forums say this is due to using a no-cd crack, and that using the legit version fixes the problem.

You must change jk2 it will be probably stannd on windows vista but you can change it to windows 2007 it helps i had it to that message.

i didnt cracked anything i got a original version and how shld i change jk2??? and how did you got rid of the problem???
oh and i have Windows Vista Home Premium no w 7 !

Lol i don't know how you say it in english but you can go with right click on jk2 "eigenschappen" and then it stand on windows vista but yuo can change it to windows 2007 if its a older game

did you try to put all ur skins into another folder, and see if your game runs again.
if it does work fine then, you used a broken skin.

when you reinstalled, you have to renistall patch 1.04 again, which is the patch, that lets you play with us. we all share the same serverlist because we share the same patch

Actually I believe other patches can show up in the server list, hence the error some people get "server uses protocol version 16."

Well i took all my skins AND maps out of my base und placed rthem in a folder on desktop but it didnt work and i patched all patches AND reinstalled cus it didnt worked and patched aggain DIDNT worked and now i use my english jk2 from my time in Amerika and this version is already on 1.4 ^^ ! lets seee yea the model Star Slayer ------>Kernow dont works cus legs missing

And i need to download Dcmod 1.2 pls gimmme a link ore turn Auto Download on server online please! ill open a new topic with that^^!

you dont need the dcmod file... if you cant see our server u dont have the right patch installed...
and we all have kernows skin ^^ and no-one sees a error...

cant i see the server but Autodownload need to be on that i can join the server and i need the dcmod the game says it clearly that i have to download DCmod ore turn Autodownload on the server on and skin works now i downloaded it aggain the one i got must be a bad download XD

we cant turn on the autodownload... only you can activate it... but i cant remember the commands
