New map for the server

I havent seen the map yet but its downloaded and ready. OMG i cant wait to see it! i love LOTR it awesome, and the films are truly epic! Ive completed the first battle for middle earth and loved it!

Actually i might even go as far as offending u all by saying i like LOTR films better than Star Wars!

I dont know what it will be like on server but i set up a local game just so i could test and see the map and in part it is very laggy. Its also not as big as i hoped but i guess we'll just have to see how it goes. The map itself is great design and almost a true replica of the real thing. XD

Well there's a difference between playing the game and being the server. As far as I know, the server only needs to provide communication of the changes in the environment to the clients, and when it's running as a dedicated server I don't believe it actually has to render the 3D environment. So for the server, it should be no problem. But if you lag when you play it on your own local server, you'll still have the same framerate issues on an internet server.

Yeah im mean real in relation to the film and to the Battle for middle earth game, which now i realise my error because they are of course fictional, haha lol!

Still it could be real, Star Wars is real! There's no way to prove Star Wars isnt real because it was a long time ago in a galaxy far far way! lol humor me

Ok understood, i guess there no way of knowing for sure until we actually try it for real. "Proofs in the pudding" so to speak.
