Well, in my opinion there is many games people abuse for montages, even though it is all the same footage with "special effects" to pretty it up. (Cough cough Modern Warfare 2 cough cough).

But there is ways, but it would be hard. Be more luck than skill.

I thought about make a montage in general of jk2 but when you think about it most people dont really do much but pull kick or grip kick and for that reason unless your doing ctf or tffa your not gonna get much but some people kicking wildy at each other

ralen, then you havn't seen good players fighting in good maps yet

and about the video, it is possible to do good records, i watched at the cinematics of the sp, and they mostly use camera damp 0 with fov variations, or static recording. If you want to move your camera, then you have to make a script which will make you execute the good move.

I'll work on those scripts.

But what we need mainly is someone to create the video itself : good assemblies. THat's harder to do i guess. MAybe cat could help for this ? His videos weren't too bad.

actually with good editing you can normally make anything look better its just a matter of how good you are which sadly without my colleges equipment I'am not D:

dont need good equipment for a good montage Acutally i never acutally made one out of school but i can use windows movie maker but i dont have a mac so i cant use that progrAm saddly Well whats in a good montage 1. Good Music nothing stupid or awesome 2.Nice Transitions between vids/screeneis 3. Good quality 4. Well one thing i like to do when i make vids i like to like get kills with the rythem of the song ^^ its pretty beasT :p 5. uhh finish the rest for me

why that is one way of doing overuse of the kill to the rhythm thing can make it look shitty and cheesy

Guys heres a tip for the camera commands.

1. the video aju posted here was about the command cg_thirdpersoncameradamp 0

2. type cg_ in the developer console and cycle through and find the "camera" commands.

I have a couple of SoL videos on Youtube, but those videos i put on youtube with bad graphics, are the old ones, i put those videos on youtube before i enhanced my X-Fire Video Recorder Graphics,

But i can make Vidoes with better graphics now, because i enhanced the graphics.

What kind of graphic card are you using?

graphics don't make the video quality ^^. To get good video, you have to get good angles on the fights, good transitions between fights, good moving. actually a video with lowest graphics can be best.

But I prefer HQ cards with a good processor and ram memory.

I dont know, My X-Fire Video Recorder Graphics Settings, was set on low that means bad graphics, but now i put it on High so when you recored, you can see everything you can evan see what people are writing.

I have a Test Video of the improved Graphips somewhere on the Forum.


@Ajunta Pall, with the graphics i had on X-Fire was bad, look at the old Videos, on this Forum and then look at the New Test Video on this forum, then you see the difference
