Ok so for like a year for so, ive been following the new mmorpg The old republic. Apparently its the sequel to Kotor 1 and 2. I have to know for sure if this game is a waste of time because even though this one is like 9 years old, i still enjoy it. What do you guys think? The game hasnt come out yet and i dont want to waste my money....

Concept looks interesting, but will someone please tell me what is Yoda doing in that one trailer? I knew he was old, but not thousands years old, and his still boss lol.

Yoda died when he was 900 dawg. Its possible but idk. The game looks great but i wanna know if you have to pay monthy like for WOW or something like that.

Their site still says pricing is yet to be determined.

It is the young yoda it is before the Empire and the rebellion yoda was like 68 years old and ye it is gonna be a pay game i think o.o but there are discussions abaut it so if i was u i would wait

Id rather just buy it in the store. I guess because of the added MMO part that you basically will have to pay. Or it will be free and "members" who pay get all the good stuff.

WOW Sucks

Rumor has it it will be micro-transaction based. As in, no monthly fee, but there are items you can buy in a store for real money. Some MMOs are free to play, with the option to subscribe to get a large bonus, and/or the option to buy items in the store as either a F2P or P2P member.

But officially, the payment scheme has not been announced.

Regardless, it doesn't matter much. It's a game by Bioware (they always make games that are highly acclaimed by the gaming world these days), this game will most likely be very awesome. I have most of my hopes set on it, and will definitely be playing it on release day.

maybe we should all buy it, and fook jk2 off. Start SoL in a different game?

I already play lots of other games, but yeah, when SWTOR comes out, I will be spending even less time in JK2. When I find an MMO I'm really enjoying, all other games get pushed to the side for awhile. Right now that game is <a href="http://www.champions-online.com/">Champions Online</a>, which just changed from subscription-only to free to play with an optional subscription to customize your character's powers and also an in-game item store, mostly for vanity items like new costume pieces. Loving this game.

Just watched the trailer, looks pretty damn good

maybe it would be good if sol widened it's horizons into other games. other clans have done it.

well if u gonna buy that game u got to know kotor 1 and 2 story line else its strange o.o
