| I think someone new should get it that has been playing more and not dropped off the map like Dargon. He only comes back if he gets HC. That's BS. Give it to Axel or Dan, someone new.

| I don't know which HC sol needs right now ... it's hard to tell, considering potential HCs and actual clan's situation. | |

| Just cuz someone knows how to admin and another person doesn't is no reason for you to get admin again. Kira or someone like Axel should get a chance. Axel has been playing a lot he deserves it. Plus he's UK time zone. Vader is central timzone in the USA. Timezone wise it would be good to have a euro as HC. As a non SOL player on SOL I think your admin su cked Dragon. How many times did you empower some nu bb and we got abused cuz of it? That s hit has not happened since you've been gone.

| If I may make a suggestion, why not train SoL members to use admin instead. An HC can be on and log on an admin-in-training and supervise how things go, when the HC is about to leave they log them out. You don't know who's a bad/good admin until they are given the responsibility of admin. Instead of pulling down our pants and measuring, why not help?
From reading the hostility and reasoning of Dragon's posts, I must ask what the real reason for this request is for.

| honestly, i like nibler's idea. Why not do a admin-in-training, they can get a feel on how the training goes before they are elected for HC. | |

| @Lucy and Nib: we've had this discussion before, and I can't say it worked out well.
Aren't you making the administrating positions much bigger deals than they really are ? Provided that the newly elected ones are not dull, they can quickly find their way around. Besides, I don't like Dragon's motivation... elect me and I'll play ? That's supposed to be in reverse order.

| Igrom, if there is a new HC maybe you should get it. You've done a good job and someone should nominate you if there is to be another HC.

| I don't think the game needs more admins with higher power. With our massive 50 player database remaining on JK2 the last thing that should be taking place is bans. Only on very rare occasions should banning occur, saving noobs from ragequitting at this point is leading to less overall players rather than saving anything. Appoint babysitters to temp ban the truly irritating, and move on. If im totally wrong and dc can ban too, point still stands =P | |

Considering I'm very new to the game, it is extremely annoying when you have someone that's considerably better than you, running around killing you over and over even when you tell them to quit it. When you do, all you get is "u emo lols?!?!". God I hate that. So basically, you mean that bad behavior should be accepted because the people are good players? Noobs can't get good? You make no sense because maybe if people behaved, new players or "noobs" would stay along long enough to get good.. Or maybe, that chance should not be given? See what I mean?

| Lamers are better than you because they fight more. More you fight, better you get quicker. Now granted, you are new to the game, yes. All you need is a couple weeks of learning everything and trust me, things will get easier. Fight till you can't fight no more. That's how everyone's gotten better to begin with. You don't think everyone left in jk2 hasn't been through what you're going through? I can tell you that we all have at one time or another. You or no one else will get special treatment just because you are new.
You will have to take a lot of verbal abuse in this game. You can't take it personally or let it get to you, as that's the whole reason they are doing it. I'm not trying to justify that's ok to do, however, if you want to keep playing jk2 you've got to toughen up. I liked to play under the phrase, "Silence is Golden" for awhile.
It's not that it's bad behavior. There are just 2 separate groups of beliefs: "No laming, ever" and "This is a game, you're meant to kill everyone no matter what". SoL has done a great job at finding a medium between these 2 groups so that they can, sorta, coexist on the same server.
Hope what I've written has helped you understand jk2 a little better.
