What's happened to the US server ?

I've been a bit busy recently so I think I've missed some stuff. So what happened to the US server then ? It's not on GT or on the portal anymore :O

I was asking this question 1-2 days ago. Vader didn't know why

Ah well, we don't have a chance in TT's really, and not to sure about cyan flame. But it helps out since we don't have to pay for 2 servers. ^^

Hopefully good will come from this and might make the EU server slightly more popular now the US players have no where else to turn :L

Y'all motherfackers are sad. You realize how many years the Euros had to put up with that ping to play with us back in the days when most of our members were North American and South American? Now we have a huge EU player base, so it makes sense. I too am really bummed over losing the US server, but it was super inactive. Not much can be done.


As for fighting in that ping, the South Americans did it all the time. Bet each one of you can do it. I can. Put in a bit of time, and anything can be done.

The US server wasn't good, imo. It lagged the entire time, no matter what ping you had. Connection interuppted 24/7. It's better with a 150 ping than to lag all the time.

If it sounded like I was complaining, it wasn't supposed to sound like it. I'm well aware that Euro players had to deal with high ping, the only thing is, they had to deal with it from the start. Unlike US people, which were pampered/nurtured in the low ping environment, and suddenly moving into a higher ping environment. I know that in time (quite a bit xD) we will get better, its just getting accustomed to the x3 or even x5 the ping which was on US. ^^

well idk bout yall, but I have rarley ever played on US servers in my time spent of jk2, the only two servers I have ever been on that are US were AoF, and SoL. Almost all other servers I have been on in 6 years, were German, or in that area. But I can see vader's point. You guys are talking about SoLs lifespan, not Jk2s

I never had an issue on it but I was at like 30-50 ping there lolz.

True but now for our south american people who are active(Luke/Gonza) have no chance of winning. I am kinda sad about this and hope one day we can support 2 for SoL if needed again.

Mmmh yeah but my ping was getting higher through the years idk why. I remember having 180 when I started playing, then 200, 250, last year 250/300 and now is like 300 or more lol.
Luke must have lower ping than me, because Light, for example, always had 180/200 max so I guess its my Internet or something.
