OS Compatibility

Im building a new PC :v... Im trying to get Windows 8.1 64 Bits, but i want to know if I can play JK2 with the OS named before... Somebody could help me?

Hey Bacara, I have Windows 8.1 64 bit and JK2 works fine for me through Steam. I had to edit the jk2mp.cfg to have my required resolution (because you cant seem to change it in game). But thats about it.

Yeah you too mate . Yeah we are still busy on some days, its quiet a lot but with the master list coming back up it should be getting a lot busier!

Its about time that some good olf peeps show up

Master server back, micro back, bacara back, boogie plays occasionally now too, yes its been many happy returns. I even saw yesterday one old member (dmraz) on forums on whom especially older members have memory. I also hope solid and graan will come as they said in the past. So yes. With master server back on people may feel less discouraged and if they will see busy servers like ours and the others it will be more fun than it is. Lookin' forward

For the resolution problem you can just use the following commands when you first launch jk2:
/r_customheight <height>
/r_customwidth <width>
/r_mode -1
/vid_restart
