EVENTS!

First off I'm sorry for my recent inactivity.
I have a lot of work to do lately and have barely time to even breathe

So.
I'm about to create some events.
I would want to try out some other gamemodes beside FFA/TFFA/CTF.
You can choose wich gamemode would interest you more.
First up are Jedi Master and the Holocron mod.

I'll need an admin to set all things up and on the event day and I'd like to know when you guys are having time and interest.
More ppl = more fun

The first event will be kept very simple.
There will be a 1st 2nd and 3rd place determined by the amount of kills scored.
I will see it as a ''beta'' and will do the same event again someday, maybe a bit spiced up, if you guys had fun.

Feel free to to post ideas about how to make things better

I would say Jedi Master first then Holocrons , or can do even both, hour one hour second thing. If it will be after this weekend then I can't come, will go skiing in the week, otherwise I should be okay ^^

I can do any time except this weekend. Also good idea!

I think I will be able to be in the server this weekend and the next one (saturdays and sundays are the days I have more time to be around, especially sundays). I like both types of game, but I think I prefer Holocron over Jedi Master this time.

Its a 6 for Jedi Master and a 5 for Holocrons.

The weekends are the days which I have more free time, but I can make it a friday or be there a specific day in the week, just tell exactly when I will try to adjust things to be there

I think that time is fine, at least for me. I would prefer 9 instead of 10, but I can make it to both times.

I found jm_ffa_bespin.cfg among files, I assume this is the Jedi Master mode right? On ffa_bespin map. So I would say we can have the event on that map, on other map there would need to be cfg for it first right? Checking before testing this gamemode first ^.^

I am pretty sure Jedi Master can be played in other maps but Idk if our server can execute those maps in that mod, probably yes but it wouldn't harm to try them before we do the event in a moment were there are only bots in the server.

I already tested it yesterday, it can be done on any map in server files, it just needs the cfg for it, we can make this any time ^.^

Hey guys.
I know I am no event manager anymore.
But I'd kind of like to revive this post here since I couldnt find the time and organisation for this and cus I had no admin.
So it died.

But I am HC again and I could arrange this independet without the need to to get an admin online.
The question is however: Is there still interest in this?
The vote states that people would like to try Jedi Master.

Good events are always good, it can help out to attract people.

Sure! I tried to revive this events in the past but couldn't make it work probably. Whenever you want to do the event, I will try to be there!
