FFF Alliance Information.

Here is a general post for our allies 'FFF' to post into should they feel the need to request anything or engage in diplomatic discussion xD

If anyone doesn't already know FFF are a good clan with such members as Manta, Boogieman and many more friendly players. Their forum address ' http://fff.plusbb.org/index.php ' is there and I strongly encourage everyone to visit them and say hello.

Obviously their server is 'FFF' - So drop by here also.

that s why i am concerning about you guys, that you guys still manage to unban these peoples who bullies you and me all the time :S

I think this is going to be even more of a concern because the new DC admin line up is unlikely to be any stricter, if i was amongst them you could place your faith in the fact that my forthright and righteous charicter would not allow lamers and scripters to run riot on our server, and they would not be given a free reign.

Maybe thats why i havent been voted, because the members think i would be too strict or harsh. But certaily prefer my way of upholding rules to the ways of for example: mereel, blue, hektor and ajunta (and more), who appease and turn blind eyes, or who wont use admin to police the server. (mer stated that one of the reasons he voted for alien, is because he doesnt use admin against rule breakers.) Thats ridiculous...

I think that SoL is loosing all desire to uphold server rules to the max, lamers and scripters get away scott free these days, and with the new DC admins coming in, i think thats unlikely to change. :/

I am not as strict for a few reasons: 1) NOT ALWAYS THE LAMERS FAULT! You guys only listen to the complainer, and don't even take into account what the other person says. Yes I know there are plenty of assholes out there, but there is such thing as newbies trying to get rid of a player they don't like. I seen it many times. I try to get both sides of the story and compare the facts. Then I make a decision. 2) IT IS NOT MY MAIN JOB. When I was HC, my job was to care and fix the server, not "police" it. That is HC secondary duty. DC admins main duty is to protect. So usually, if I do get involved, Sebb, Kernow, or Xasomur already take care of the problem, leaving me with nothing to do. 3) Sometimes fighting is a good thing! When I said that Ali3n doesn't use admin against rule breakers, I mean instead of sleeping them or warning them, he fights them. Now yes warnings and sleeping is good (Do I have to remind you again that it is my 3-strikeout system that you guys adopted? HMM?), but I have found that when that sometimes the player is looking for a fight. So instead of them laming the new players, I attack the lamer, so they attack me instead. Now sometimes you get the players than ignore you, kill the newbies, then kill you, but that is when admin is REALLY needed. These people don't give a shit about anyone and anything. So yes admin is required, but in fighting the opponent, you learn and practice fighting, and you keep the players attention on you and not the newbies, keeping them safe. Called being selfless.

Also, I doubt you will ever calm a Euro. These players were breed to fight all the fuc king time. They don't believe in chatting, or laming. They fight, and when they are done, they chat for a second then leave. So they aren't in our server laming to be rude. It is all they know. Now yes they could learn to show respect, but that is why admins are around. Cause most (Or all) euros are of 2 things: Thick-headed and EVC users. So I doubt you won't stop all the lamers.

My point is I disagree with this image you set you mind to imagine me as. It is prejudice, and I don't like it. I have dealt with my fair share of laming, lagging, ganging, etc. But different strategies are required for different problems.

Fair point mereel, you do have your priorities right.

However there are still others who dont perform to your standard, those who turn a blind eye because they dont want to deal with it, or those admins who appease rule breakers or wont use admin on them for whatever reason. For all we know, the next DC batch could be as bad as this, but people know that im not like this, i always act, i always ensure the server is policed properly and that everybody gets a fair game, and there would be less scripters around too (and im good at spotting scripters). Thats why i dont understand why people dont want me as an admin...

Like i said phoe ur #1 to me (even though we don't get along sometimes )

Who said we dont get along grimlore? I havent got a problem with you so long as your not spamming all the time.

the difference pheonix is that, without offensing you, some people have means to fight lamers, while others don't. So some prefer use admin way, because they don't really have another choice ...

@aju, its like kernow says, if a lamer targets me and only me, then i will fight back, even if i loose, i wont use admin. But if a lamer is targeting anybody on server, especially new and innocent players, then whether i fight, or warn or anything, he is still going to persist, thats where i used admin. Im not bothered about myself, but i wont allow innocent players games to be ruined. I would rather be known as an admin abuser, than somebody who turned a blind eye or didnt act when i should have.

sooner an american kept trying to lame everyone. but i didn't let him kill others, i just had to get him off his way so that he couldn't kill them. So others could play, and he was unable to lame them ( only once or twice he managed to rage dfa them ).
