cropped :/

Ive re-installed jk2 (dont hurray, im still only going to play on very rare occasions, just i thought i'd re-install anyways), for some reason the screen is cropped on both sides by pahaps an inch each way. Ive tried messing around with the resolution but that makes no difference whatsoever. There doesnt look like any simply way to solve this, so im asking for advice. I was wondering if windows 7 makes a difference, because ive never had this problem before. When i start the game i get a pop up saying the game is not in optimal resolution, but the games parameters wont match the suggest optimum.

Any thoughts?

And when i put any size in the configuration of the game i see it like 800x600. Evene if i put it in the maximus size screen i see it 800x600, idk wht happen cuz all the games that i played are in 1280x760, and yes i hve on full screen option. This si your problem too? or not? There are two black bars at the sides when i play jk2

Yeah its pretty much the same gonza, i doubt there is much i can do about it :/

well, there are two different resolutions to mess with.. if you have messed with both, then nevermind. but the first one is your desktop resolution.. right click, properties, display settings. then there are the games resolution. try both. if not, then that is one more thing you can rule out. hope this helps

Try pressing alt+enter to window it, then pressing alt+enter again to put it back to full screen.

My screen was cropped from the top a few times, and this worked for me.

your monitor might require you install some drivers for it too. this could be part of the prob as well.
