Christmas IDea!!!

My idea for the Christmas times is to give our Forum a new style for Xmas only^^ Not this boring blue color lets take something RED ;D

Probley to much effort but nice idea

maybe aju has some spare time and is bored... ^^
maybe nick is... we'll see
i have no clue of it... but if i have spare time, then i will update everything else on the forum and i'll do the medals... so dont count on me
or we can ask outcast... he knows how to do it XD

I don't have time to redesign the forum for winter. If anyone does decide to do it, please notify me first so I can backup the existing styles properly.

You could change your names to the christmas colours like

^1 ^2 ^7 it would be cool to have sol as christmas colours.

i could easily make us a new forum design i'm educated website programmer afterall and got A+ as the final grade

Sure want a complet new forum design etc.? or just the change in colors at forum to christmas colors? then i'll start fixing it this week but i won't finish it in this week got a project at my new education but i'll post a cast of the new design when it's done ^^

Just a color change of the current design. I'll need the CSS you use to target and style all the elements, it isn't helpful if you just include placeholder element selectors that won't actually work, I need production level CSS that will work upon implementation because that's the majority of the work that's involved; choosing colors is the easy part. You'll find that forumotion doesn't provide you very convenient targets for CSS selectors. In addition to the CSS, there are approximately 60 icons used in various locations across the forum that have to be manually altered to the desired color.

If you think you can do this easily, go for it. Personally, I think it is a waste of time.

You guys havn't chosen all the colors for the forum in a css file? And made the color styles etc. in the div tags etc. :S
that's quite awesome but well i'll look at it if it is like that i won't do it but if there's a main css file i'll find it in no time ^^

32-ltr.css is the main css file?

Yes. Forumotion also provides some GUI controls for controlling some of the colors, but it doesn't work for all of them. I'd recommend creating your own forum with forumotion and using the Star Wars theme to figure out which ones you can change via the GUI and which you must use via CSS.

It also takes sometime to go and change all colors in the design + u have to find all the class / ids in the css plus finding a good color and other colors to combind with and if it made in diffrent constructors too means that i have to look through all the code :s

ell i once made a Home page it was easy but i think forumotion makes better pages so its not easy right?^^ well Good luck xD

Not really there forum design is just costum and made easy for a user to edit in their edit tool they got at their site but it take ages to edit it in that tool beacuse that much of the style (background-color, images) etc. etc. is made in the tables etc. etc.
