Can't remember

I can't remember if it was Sebby or not but someone said there could be a new rule for recruits sang that they could be allowed in a turny from around 1 week of recruit .. Is this true? I hope we COULD have a rule like that ... not just because im recruit but because it will make people happier than waiting around 1 month until they can have one .. confusing aye?

As far as i know there's not such a rule and i think it's good that people have to be in ATS for a month for getting white flame, then people can show they are loyal and want to be in ATS before they get a chance to get new rank

well... nick and me had a deep discussion about that, started off with kernows and phoenix participation... but only at the beginning...
in the end no one noticed the outgoing
and no-one payed attention

actually we decided that the poll was more important, but to ensure, that everyone had his tourney before the poll, and no-one has to wait any more time, we decided that the tourney can be at any point of the recruitment phase

but as no-one reads my announces and posts onto this topic, it will be one of those things the council have to decide above...

i recommend u to just wait a bit, the council is done this week ^^

well... but in the last post we directed to all, and they were short... as its an important topic i thought u guys would at least check it

well ur not totally wrong blue, i need dictionary for nicks posts, when he uses some special phrases or words...
i just have some wrong usage and bad syntax... which is understandable without dictionary, u only have to read it twice or so xD
for lazimen my way is easier xD

but if u want to have something to be noted down... i will always choose nick for that^^

OK so, there seems to be some confusion and lack of communication regarding this issue (myself included) and we apparently have not yet reached a conclusion regarding the membership proceedure of recruits.

So are we going to postpone this matter until the council is formed, up and running? Or should we decide now?

Im happy with nicks idea and proposal (and it was actually the initial way of recruits getting membership). That is that once they have recruitment they may have a tourney at anytime, once they have had and won the tourney they have the poll at the end of the month (or 1 month later from the successful tourney date, IDK).

I did think the red star idea was a good proposal, but it has come to light that in ATS the poll is more important than the tourney and therefore should be the end examination of a recruits dedication, enthusiasm ,loyalty and friendship, rather than it being an preliminary test and have the tourney following.

The tourney proves not as much as the poll and only asks for proof of skill and improvement, whereas the poll asks for your proof of dedication, enthusiasm, loyalty, friendship, and the respect you have gained from others in ATS as well as your drive to create mutual success of other members and ATS as a whole.

As only a passed poll proves that you are worthy of ATS, this is the pinnicle of a recruits assessment and therefore it should be left until last.

So can i have comments from any who agree or disagree so we can get this matter straighten out and verified?

Or are we going to leave it until our council is assembled?

Ok so are we saying that nicks way is now being used? YES? Xaso has written the procedure for membership, in the "poll for recruits" section (which is tourney before poll) and i am happy with this, so are all agreed now?

If so then we can have graa and hora face off asap for membership, seb was thinking about setting up the tourney today but none of us could confirm if graa was allowed.

It appears however from what xaso and nick have said that graa is a recruit and therefore allowed to fight anytime.

So unless somebody tells me otherwise i will tell seb that hora and graa can fight next time they are both on. Especially as hora is leaving for a while, i think he deserves a shot at the flame before he goes. (of course seb will probs read this).

PS- because of the lack of communication (sry guys my fault too) it appears that we are all agreed on the same procedure, just none of us have told each other we are agreed on the same procedure.

lol, that sounds fine Phoenix. I left it open in that thread because I felt I had sufficiently explained my opinions and was being heard, and at that point, either choice decided by the rest of the community was fine with me.

So to confirm, once you are a *Recruit, you can have a tournament at any time. After successfully completely a tournament (or failing it three times) AND having been a *Recruit for at least a month, you are eligible for a poll to become a ~Member.
