As feedback, I agree with Sind that the explosion noise that's in place of a lightning strike is too far off from the noise it's supposed to represent, so personally I think it would be better to remove it. The other rumbling sounds are just fine. I also agree with Aju that manipulating the apparent light with the cycles would be cool, although it's not a huge deal except at night.
The biggest thing I would be interested in is toning down or removing the sounds when you're deep inside a building. I have a feeling this is certainly impossible, but it would add a lot of realism if there is a way to do it. The hangar and elevator room would have no sound or barely audible sound, and the temple / training areas would be between that and the outside level.
Again, awesome job.
I couldn't have said that any better. Your rain/skybox mod does remind me a lot of Star Wars Galaxies. Thats probably why I like it a lot. I don't mind the sound to be honest, it's pretty relaxing. It makes my game-play a little more realistic and it's almost as if i'm in some exotic topical island of some sort. Well in other terms it reminds me like I'm in the actual Jedi Academy from JK3, with all the bazaar inhabited running about. I'd imagine that's how the skies and area of sound would sound-like. I hope you get what I mean.

abrum, could it be, that the sky changing can be abused? we had some serious lagging of the server due to pending server commands with the textures of the sky... :S can someone exploit that feature from the server?

From what I know, my anti-lag loader continually adds all the textures to peoples' RAM, so they don't lag later when they are loaded. So if people can change the skies, it will cause less lag than it would without the anti-lag loader, but it may still lag people if it's being hacked.
Can anyone confirm this?

no... we got lags on the server with ppl being lagged and dropped out, because of pending server commands. which means too many commands come to the server at ONCE. and we had it today that it happens continuing that sky/textures changing causes such pending server commands which lags the server... i wanna know how that happens and if it could be a possible exploit and how to stop that.

I don't know if it's possible. If anyone can figure out, please let me know. My map recently was updated with a new set of commands, each of which signals a set of rain drops to fall, so they fall at different times. But I still don't see how it could be kicking people in such a manner unless someone was exploiting it... Just aren't enough commands being sent at once, I made sure of that when I made only 1 sound play at a time (aka only one bird chirps per 6 seconds).
