| Not that I know of, since I believe jk3 models have more bones than jk2 models. | |

| can't convert a skin from jk3 to jk2. It is possible ONLY if the base model alraedy exists in jk2. | |

Try experimenting on them pherhaps? The maps works in JK2 if you pack all the texture, shaders and music ( optional ) into a .pk3 and place it in your Jk2 base folder.

~Micr0z~ It packs the skin but the model loadout will be fly a kite up in Jk2 because of all the bones of the model it has in Jka unlike Jk2 which has less bones.

| exactly boogie. so for example a reborn from jk3 can be converted to jk2 just by replacing the model file by a jk2 one. as the model has same skeleton in look, so the textures apply to the model the same way, only the engine doesn't translate the model in same way, so you need the model from the proper game to work.
@ boogie : for maps it work indeed, cuz it's same thing in fact x) just the shader isn't exactly the same, that's why most mappers now work on jk3 and not jk2, cuz jk3 has a bit improved shader system. So if shaders arn't implied, a jk3 map can be imported to jk2.

Atleast we can try replacing a reborn model with a tripmine model.
