| My computer finally boots up! After hours (and almost a week) of struggle of course! Until I finally found this tutorial which took about 5 minutes to complete!

Yay! xD

| I had that about 12 times on my old laptop, I know how it feels. But a quick word of warning, this is rarely a one off, watch out if it happens again because you could have a faulty hard drive or motherboard. | |

| Wb shotty, but like axel says, faulty drive tends to brick your system. Make backups regularly!! | |

| Yes, my hard drive IS faulty. But it won't let me create any backups. D: | |

| In that case if your warranty is still active when it next gets bricked take it back and they should replace it, if not rip it out and get a new one. You can make a back up on a external hard drivewhich plugs in via the usb. | |

| I am copying and pasting my files over to my external HDD. Can't do it for the Windows folder, but i'll keep all my stuff at least. I'm gonna go out and get a new HDD asap. Until then, i have to use this one. And i'm pretty sure i don't have a warranty, HDD is from 2004. And PC is home-built, got it from my uncle. | |
