new players on the server

there is a sale of JK2 in steam and GoG, and our server is flooded with new players.
Some are so new, they run around with lightning and blue slashes and dont even chat
some need an introduction (how to chat ^^) but they listen
and some are old ppl returning

But we need some more sols on to give a warm welcome to the new people, maybe some of them will stay in the game if they feel comfortable
we'd also need some players to distract those veyd ppl, they are a pain in the ass.

Once upon a time some couple of years ago when I started playing Jedi Outcast these people nearly made me to quit the game forever (and you wouldn't know me, which would be now shame, wouldn't it?).
So yes, it would be good to have some member around, either to welcome these new people if they will continue coming and give them some intro, or it may even end up in posting questionnaires which would be great

I don't think it's that they don't understand MP, I think it's more they don't understand JK2 MP. Most MP games these days are KILL EVERYONE!. Even a lot of MMOs are kill everything you see and join guilds to kill everything you see. Transitioning from games like that to a game like JK2 which has so many unwritten social rules which centre around respect. Like bowing before duels, not laming people etc, it's difficult for new players to understand those concepts at first.

JK2 is one of those strange games that on the surface could be just a lightsaber\force multiplayer death match type game, but in reality is so much more than that. Once new players start to learn the rules and the nuances is when the game starts to become awesome and we are there to help them get there.

So you might have noticed some servers popping up called RBTV that are full of new players. Miso told me that there is a streamer that has been streaming himself playing the game on Twitch and his channel is RBTV. So there has been a huge influx of new folks to the game. Hopefully some of them stick around and it will be great for the game!

And I have a solid feeling whose server is the German one lol (but that is just for my info)
