Finals!

Ok so it's Finals time! I was wondering where people would be placed in the final bracket and it looks like it's done it randomly.

SoL TT Finals!

Although we've ended the groups early, with Hek not being able to fight until Wednesday probably, it still might get delayed for a few days, but we can get some of the fights done anyway.

I had an idea to do the final matches in ATS Zoned to make it a bit more epic if we could have people in the 'stadium' around the edges watching the battle. Up to you guys though, I'm hoping we can at least do the final there.

Edit: I'm not sure why it placed Yodah in the semi finals and not Hektor, but unfortunately I can't edit the brackets.

I dont understand that... I was first in my group and I was put into round 1? It's quite unfair.. Epic should be vs Yodah and Enel vs BDL.. It's normal system which is used everywhere. Bleh.. nvm..

I agree with Hek, 1st places of each group should both go to the semifinals directly, and 2nd places should fight between them as well as 3rd places. As Epic has the same wins and points as BDL, maybe luck can decide it (for example, a coin or a dice) or maybe take into account some criterion of some sort (for example, say that despite being tied, Epic defeted BDL, so then Epic is the 2nd place and BDL is the 3rd place).

I have suggestion, Epic are you able to create new challonge? And manually insert names there, like you do with NF tourney before you shuffle names? With making Hektor and Xaso have a bye and the pair 1 2A-3B, pair 2 3A-2B with winner of pair 1 vs Hektor and winner of pair 2 vs Xaso?

I think it would be fair (but I'd like to be in semifinals sometimes xD)

Which has the proper fights that should've been in the original. Sorry for the confusion, I'm not sure why Challonge went weird with the final bracket.

One of the good things is I added a fight for third place (which I'd forgotten to do in the first one).

Remember, in the event of a 5-5 result, opponents will fight 1 NF and 1 FF until a player has a two win lead.

I think it went alphabetically not results-wise. So it put Xaso as with X last letter and KingYodah as with K as last letter from those who advanced and put them into semifinals. But I am not sure lol

Well.. I'd be fine.. but with my current possibilities to play, less games is better for me.

Nah you guys were right, the original bracket wasn't fair to you and didn't make sense given the way normal tournaments structured like this work. It's better all round to have it setup properly.

And the tournament is over! Congrats again Hek for a great performance even though you're a bit rusty . Congrats to Enel for improving his NF and Force fighting loads over the last year or so, you really are one of the best all round fighters in SoL currently. And lastly congrats to Xaso for finishing 3rd .
