TT Autumn 2016 rules & sign up

Time to try next Total Tournament!

The process will be pretty much exactly the same as before, with a groups stage and a final stage. Here are the rules:

Rules
Sign Ups: Reply to this topic saying you would like to compete in the TT. Sign-Ups will be open for two weeks starting from today and ending before the weekend 20-21st October. Players who sign up must be prepared to try make it to the server to fight their opponents over the course of the groups stage and final round.

Groups Stage: Players will be entered into groups, amount of groups or TT format will depend on how many people want to participate and will fight each opponent in their group in ten (5 NF and 5 FF) duels. Unless people want to try out other format or perhaps spice it up with special competion/duels. In case of number of groups, the two players in each group who have won the most matches, or in the event of a tie, the highest number of duels won (amount of matches won may be taken into account as well), will proceed to the next round. Group Stage matches not completed before the time limit is up will be considered as 0-0.

Final Stage: The format will change to a normal Quarter Final > Semi Final > Finals set up where the remaining players will fight in ten (5 NF and 5 FF duels) where the winner moves on to the next round. In the event of a tie, players will have to fight alternate NF and FF duels until a player has a 2 win lead.

In the event of players struggling to reach their opponents, they can post in the TT Autumn 2016 topic. It might be useful for participants to use also Steam, for even more effective arranging of a duel.

If a player registers for the tournament and goes AWOL or exits the tournament, their matches will be forfeited.

Time Periods:

Sign-Ups: 10/07/2016 - 20-21/10/2016
Group Stage: 20-21/10/2016 - 04/11/2016
Final Stage: 04/11/2016 - 18/11/2016

Sign-Up period or stages aren't necessarily bound to these dates, they are orientational. If no one else wants to participate, or if stage ends earlier, the next step can begin without further waiting. If someone has a duel remaining and can't come in time it is okay to duel later but don't make others waiting too long.

No one more? Duels will start in couple of days, or maybe sooner if this is final amount of people since no one signed up in past 5 days.

I know from Joe that Enel wants to participate too, left him a message we can add him.

Counted 12 people so far. If that stays, want to have 2 groups by 6? First 4 from both groups would go to quarterfinals, 1A-4B, 2A-3B etc, and 5th-6th places would form group of 4 for 9th-12th place.
Creating 3 groups by 4 would be less fair because one group would send further only 2 people while others 3. 6-ppl groups would send further same amount. Well I'm just asking.

Alright so I've sorted everyone into 2 groups, there are a lot of good fighters in it but I've evened it out I think.
