couldnt load open GL i cant play jk :(

the titlle is the problem xD.. when i start jk2 it says in the "mini console": COULDNT LOAD OPEN GL".
someone help me

either you dont have the right version patch, or you need to reinstall. more than likely its an assets.pk3 that you need, and dont have. so try to patch 1.04 again. if that dont work, then you gonna need to unistall, reinstall. goodluck

It's not the problem from your JK2 installation it's probally your graphic cared driver. It gives that error if your drivers are outdated. If you have Direct-X go to Start > Run > Dxdiag > go to tab display and see what kind of driver you have, after that, go to google typ in your typ of graphic card with the word > driver beyond it download it and install. if the install won't start you probally have the wrong driver...

It's pretty easy. . Although I have seen you on yesterday... did you do anything with your computer after you logged off? Maybe that caused the problem. Normally it's the graphic card driver stuff but it depends.

Ps : if you opened the Display tab and you don't see anything let me know. Otherwise it should go as I explained above. If it doesn't you gonna find out yourself what your graphic card is... or maybe I can find something on the internet how to find out.

ok thnks guys.. Today i play jk2 at morning and more later i instaled assasins creed then i try to log on and the error appears.

Srry for the repost but, where is the direct x program?? i hve ATI.
And other thing. when i installed assasins creed direct x has upgrade automatically

try uninstal creed and see if that caused the problem.

Definitely agree with the advice to update graphics card drivers. GONZA if you have latest version of Windows Live Messenger I can connect to your computer and help you fix the problem. (Assuming you have a genuine version of Windows operating system.)

I tryed to use Jedi Academy on my dad's computer which had Windows 7,but it didn't work

because old games run with old computers sometimes they run with new ones but its not likely

I run JK2 just fine on Windows 7 x64.

Lol ok it seems fine now. A LITTLE offtopic but I think Vista DOES suck. Iam still with XP and I got a cracked disc which works fine and with A LOT of cracked software >.>, don't tell me why .

Also, I think that Linux computer are way better than any windows... the only problem is you can't play a lot of games on a linux computer. JK2 you can though . My brother has a mac and it's A LOT more user friendly and much more practical!

Oh btw GONZA, Direct-x is a standard graphic related program made by Microsoft to play games on Windows Operating Systems. You need it for almost ANY game ( so far as you don't play DOS Games, Tetric or Pacman the whole day :/ )

Anyway, nice that it's solved!
