Why will Argentina gain the world cup? An analysis based on numbers...
The sympathizers with soccer commit serious logical errors when they evaluate the probabilities of success of his own one selected in a world cup. Here, an analysis absolutely objective and based on the information that demonstrates why Argentina will gain the cup in South Africa 2010...

Spain, not a world cup team

In 2008, Spain gained the Eurocup. Like that, many indicate it like favorite for South Africa 2010.

Germany and the geographical impossibility

Germany never came to the final of a world cup disputed in the south hemisphere. Even more, three world cups that it gained were in Switzerland (1954), Germany (1974) and Italy (1990). Namely always playing of place or inside an area of influence near to his borders.

The causes of this phenomenon still have not been clearly elucidated. But, to the ends of our investigation, we do not need to investigate any more.

The parallelism of the climate: A meticulous analysis of the information reveals to us that all the world cups disputed in the south hemisphere were gained by countries of the above mentioned hemisphere: Uruguay 1930 (champion Uruguay), Brazil 1950 (champion Uruguay), Chile 1962 (champion Brazil), Argentina 1978 (champion Argentina).

Shame i disagree, i dont think even Messi played that well against nigeria, and he's your best player (if not world best). Yeah u won, but your going to have to produce better than that to take the cup. I think you will do better than us, but there is room for improvement.

My favourites are brazil or spain as favourites, with portugal, italy and netherlands as outsiders. Germany also look strong, they could be in with a shot too. France and Engand, i dont think so, i hate to say it, but our team still are no where near convicing enough, and us Englanders have had too many let downs in the past, so we dont get our hopes up anymore now. That this analysis is very well thought but, i think that whoever wins the World Cup, will be by the performance of the players in each match. Many selections have their best players injured or missing.
For example:
Germany: Ballack is injured
England: Beckham is unjured
Brazil: Adriano and Ronaldinho did not play.
France: Karim Benzema didnt play
Italy: Materazzi didnt play
I put these teams because they are "candidates"

I honestly think that club teams like, Manchester United, Arsenal or Chelsea would have more chance of winning the world cup, if they could play, than what the international team England have. Its all about team chemistry, and England lack it. Yet English clubs are thriving with it.

and yes, true, in many teams important players are injuried... but i guess that ballack is ill helps the team. he is a great player. but he doesnt fit in a german team. he better fits to england. but germany needs players that fit together in a team on the same level. and ballack doesnt play german football. he plays harsh with low movements. giving out passes that even the own team is expecting.
as it is now khedira managing the defense and schweinsteiger the offense, and lahm the whole team, is just perfection ^^

indeed. portugal sucked hard. ivory coast was better. shit that they didnt win ^^
ronaldo is an arrogant jerk... though he was the only portugese playing football.

brazil wasnt bad. they tried to play germany football. that needs a comparison to the german match. brazil tried too much kicks from far distance. germany combined more with more success. they tried too much alone and through the middle. so they just ran into the defense of NK.
their first goal was a mistake of their goalkeeper. he did the gailure of amateur keepers. he has stand right at the pillar... but he left space for an elephant to run through. the second goal was far better.
their defense was very good. but to the end of the half times their lost their concentration... which caused the goal.
their attacks were too slow. if they want to get through the middle of that defense, they have to make a fast surprising attack, like germany did some. but they made it too slow, so their defense could form.

these things failed in relation to germany. but they did no fail passes, just like germany didnt as well.
but you have to say, that NK played alot better, two leagues higher, than australia.

brazil didnt shine, but they were quite good. screw the first half.
