map modding and modding need help

hey ppl of sol
i have this idea in my head and i need to learn the skill of map modding and modding to finish this idea so if any of u know anything about map modding or modding could u help me out

i need to know a lot of things so i will just list all the things i need to learn


how to add stuff to a map
how to make accounts to login to for the users
idk know what its called but like in the ats map when u walk out of garden it says leaving garden i need to know that and how to do that when u use something/click on something i want text to pop up
i have more questions but that should get my by for now

He means like roleplay mods. There's a good one on jka that makes the game a lot less stupid if you think it is already.

yea ive been trying but he wont leave his map and i cant find the down load

alright guys ive learned some prity good stuff in like 20-30 mins

I map but from scratch so i dont know if i could help, i only know very small amounts about map modding with mods and stuff from my time working under boy,but im gonna go learn some more stuff over the next few weeks that im sure will be handy >: D!


as for the text thing its a target_print which you give the same name as whatever your triggering is one way to do it

Trigger> func_door + target_print
you give the func_door + target_print the key targetname and the value of something like Dooropenanncouncement

but as i said i worked with boy so twimod is different from ds online or whatever you guys use

but i dont know how you make these ingame i use gtk and jk2 radiant but yeah hope i helped sort of?
