Germany never came to the final of a world cup disputed in the south hemisphere. Even more, three world cups that it gained were in Switzerland (1954), Germany (1974) and Italy (1990). Namely always playing of place or inside an area of influence near to his borders.

4-1 - England's heaviest ever World Cup Defeat.

Germany were the better side. That isn't to say Germany played amazingly well, but England had to many flaws and were so shite that no team could of played worse than us.

The only good players in that match were the two goalkeepers. The German goalie pulled off amazing saves in the late stages as England tried to get their goals. Our Goalie David James was amazing. His defense team were shocking. The four goals in the first half (2 German 2 English) gave England hope. The German goals demoralized us yet the English goal raised our hopes. The disallowed goal was just...saddening. Moral score at half time should've been 2-2.

The two later goals in Germany in the second half were not to superior German attack but poor and absent English defense. Twice Germany countered from their penalty area and twice the English defense were not back in thier own half. It was a textback walk in the park for Germany, who made good capitalised goals but again they didn't play amazingly.

I must congratulate Germany, they are so strong and fully deserved to beat us. However, if they play like they did against us Argentina will rinse them for all they've got. Neutral

your first goal was a present of our keeper and our defensive boateng. dont complain about your defense. your second goal was 1. again a present of our defense and 2. luck. only unlucky that the referee didnt see it. but even if it would have counted, it would have been luck.
and the 3 goals of germany were no luck. the first one was. the last 3 ones wasnt.
so get your 2 present goals, we take our 3 present goals. and still germany was alot better in the offense. short passes in the free space. good movements. good chances.

Xaso no goal is 'luck' - If it is a shot and it goes in goal it is not lucky. What qualifies a lucky goal and an unlucky goal? None of the goals were lucky. They're all legit - The only unluck is what we had with the goal being disallowed.

What you cannot say is that the last 3 German goals has nothing to do with English defense. However like I said Germany capitalised on the weak English with triumph and they played better than us.

soz sebbat to say that: mexico played better: the will and the condition. first goal was offside. FAR offside. and the first goal is more deciding than the 4th in the game. and the second goal was a present from the mexican defense. the third goal was nice, but it didnt came from play. argentina didnt manage to get any chances out of the game.
