Stupid ping..

My ping is normally 120 on SoL server but now it has gone up to 220+ and i have checked euro server .......@ or w.e its called and its around 30.

Any ideas?

Whats the cg_max and rate and what ever the others areeeee?

i got the same problem, the cause is the shitty mobile internet with 56K speed of... well yoou know how it is.

try it with "cl_maxpacket" and with "snaps" and "rate"

Depends how good your internet is, i wouldnt exaggerate with the values like /snaps 99999 or or /cl_maxpacket 9999 or rate 999999 or both.

I would recommend to set it with snaps to 20 (it s standard) but you may change it a LITTLE bit with higher value but NOT too high and NOT LOWER than 20.

About the cl_maxpackets i would set it to 30-45 but not higher or lower than 20. (if you really have bad internet like me, i guess it should be lower.)

About the rate, set it on 25000 or 30000, ridiculously high values may not take the effect or does not even take any effcts.

And if it does not help, then you need to optimize your network at home, if you are running with WiFi, you should make its reception better. If it still does not work, then it s your provider's fault (which i already have).
