Can you decrease ping?

Im posting this, because i want to find out if you can decrease ping or not. If you can then can some of you show me a few tutorials?. Would be really helpful

the ping is mostly influenced by the connection you have to the server.
so you may have a internet-connection of good quality, which maes your ping good. Or you live near to where the server is hosted, which also makes the connection better.

Everything else just helps little. but there are some commands you can use to increase your performance... unfortunately i dont have jk2 on this computer, so i cant tell you which commands with which settings you need to apply...

so if no other answers soon, i will tell you as soon as we meet on the server (its better to do there, so you can experiment a little )

The commands are:

com_maxfps 125
snaps 40
cl_maxpackets 100

These settings are generally used for them. If you are discontent with the result, you can type just the command (without any value) and you'll have the default value printed.

commands to fix frames and ping are

rate
cl_maxpackets
snaps

i don't know what are the proper values for you, the can vary depending on your base ping.

Btw i have issues with ping, has server changed location ? i used to have 110 by past, now i'm at 160-180 o_o'

Snaps should be /snaps 100 for best results, as for the others, ill ask around and get back to you if I hear anything.
