Banned

First topic message reminder :

- Within the past hour I was banned on SoL, presumably both servers, for the length of 1 week by Zelah.

- I was warned once to stop laming, after which I made a reference to a previous incident, saying 'no, i'm going to ignore what you ask me to do'

- I was then slept within a minute, understandably.

- I reconnected and rejoined the game

- ???

- 1 week ban

- I was also blocked on all forms of communication by Zelah so this could not be explained to me nor resolved.

- All of these actions were also taken out on Sanyo with ZERO warnings whatsover, before sleep, or before ban.

(mild laming occured prior to this for 10 minutes)

To recap:

Sanyo was banned without warning.

I was banned, as I feel, unfairly. The 'offences' were negligable and Zelah is clearly affected personally, I was told on XFire the ban would be far shortened [removed] if I apologised to him.

I would sooner this be addressed with no further input by a HC that is not the admin in question, as nothing is addressed this way and is a game of back and forth.

You are right I probably should have sent a PM to Sanyo as well but lets be honest its not like he was going to stop either since he has far less respect for me than even you do.  

This had nothing to do with my personal feelings because if it did and I was really mad at you for it I would have banned you when you were attacking me.  Your response and continued attacking of the other players told me that you had no intention of stopping or listening to what I was asking and i reacted based on that

'continued attacking' - I was banned within 90 seconds of you asking me to stop.

You also should not Ban someone (Sanyo) because you simply anticipated an offence.

Zel i dont really care if u had the right to ban me. I thought u were a friend and therefore expected at least a warning. But ok, now i finally realized who you really are.

There is a lesson for everyone to learn from this:

Sanyo and sam: when an admin tells you to do something, you fking do it, no questions. otherwise you get banned, slept etc.

Zelah, as an admin even if you thought sanyo would not respect your warnings you have the obligation to give them anyway, you cannot just ban people w/o warnings, unless you want to make both the people banned, and the members of the server, very unhappy.

now I have not seen the logs, but either way of the story if either are 100% accurate, yall still deserve the 1 week ban, it's not the end of the world guys, just wait it out.

I talked with Sam privately and I unfortunately misunderstood what he was saying with that quote. I guess he was just making a sarcastic remark about a previous incident like he said and I didn't get the connection and just took the words for what they were

I apologize because I probably should have tried a little longer and then the misunderstanding would have come up and again I apologize because I should have at least sent Sanyo a pm giving a warning so both of those were my mistakes.

For future, whether ur joking or not, in a situation like that its best to just take the situation very literally because words can be taken very differently in the heat of the moment.

I am glad Zelah apologized. It's always SoL after all apologizing for everything, even if we have 0,000003% of the fault. Maybe it's more in this case though ^^ We rarely get apologies though
