| What do you mean? what you have to do is unzip the folder (if it is a folder) copy the pk3 and go to your C:/programfiles/lucasarts/jedioutcast/gamedata/base and paste it there.... | |

| Ive never encountered a problem like this before, so i dont understand what is wrong.
There is the possibillity of your base folder being corrupted but then i would assume you couldnt play jk2. Are you the administrator of your computer or is somebody else? Have any restrictions been placed on computer that you know of?

| you must do something wrong lol.
What you have to do :
1) unzip the file you downloaded
2) take the pk3 file, cut it.
3) go in base folder, the real one lol, not in cd. and past your file here.
it"s ez, but maybe you've done something wrong.

| If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you need to download the files to your Desktop or My Documents first. Once they are downloaded, make sure they are all in .pk3 format, not .zip format. If they are in .zip format, you have to unzip them first. Once you have the .pk3 files, to get them in your \base folder you have to be on an Administrator account. (If you are on the first account you created with the computer, it is an Administrator account. Open up your \base folder, and drag the files from your Desktop/My Documents into your \base folder. It will ask for permission to do so, but it should work after that. You cannot download files from the internet or another computer directly into anything in Program Files, they must be on your computer first. It is a security measure in Windows Vista and Windows 7. If you are using Windows XP you should have no issues (and perhaps more spyware ). | |

| I'm not. If I had a pound for every person who got confused with finding their base folders. The server wouldn't ever need to be paid for again. | |
