Why will Argentina gain the world cup? An analysis based on numbers...

argentina played ok. but still they needed the koreans to score the first goal in their favor.
the koreans played the first 25 minutes of the second half at least as good as argentina. the two goals argentina scored then, could only be scored because korea was so offensive.
i dont want to make them bad, the goals were nice, but you have to face that this effort never will be enough to beat one of the teams that has both: a good offense AND defense... and a good tactic.

mexico played better than argentina.

one word again to the game of argentina: they needed a goal from the koreans to get into the game. they did many fail passes. if they nex time have a team agaisnt them, that is able to attack, they will cash a lot of goals. and their last two attacks only succeeded because korea tried to attack.
i have to say that korea played better than australia. so if you could see your match as a heavier test than germany head. and youre percentage is far from being perfect. may it be the team of argentina, or the quality of korea: there are many places to work on. germany had only 2 things: use their chances better and start to rule the game from the beginning and dont let the others rule it for the first 5 minutes.
but argentina has huge deficits in defense. the tactics in defense were bad, or the players couldnt perform it. the switch between offense and defense is really bad. they are once to fast and other too slow. and over and over again these fail passes. just imagine your enemy would disturb better than korea, they nearly didnt.
the attack was good. but still: koreans defense was weakened of their intend to play offensive.

maybe than korea wasnt healthy for the argentinians play, but they showed the weaknesses of argentina, some they already showed against nigeria. germany showed less weaknesses. they showed more strengths.

and to the best player of all time:
the thing is that u ask "of all time". and a footballer stays a footballer even if he isnt playing in the national team. and the career of beckenbauer as a footballer after his active career was the best. alot better than pele. not even to mention maradonna.
if you ask, who was the best footballer "of his time" its probably pele at no. 1 and maradonna at no. 2 ... idk whos 3rd xD

Argentina did not play better than Germany Seb (in the German's match against Australia). The Argentianian goals were one own goal, one lucky deflecton, and two basic headers because the Korean defense was poor not the Argentina attack being strong Neutral
