my favs are as follows
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core
Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberous
Final Fantasy Dissidia
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2 (kind of a pain in gameplay but i got it so i could finish X's Story) and I LOVE YUNA
and my fave final fantasy movie is Final Fantasy VII Advent Children
I was thinking about bringing up a final fantasy topic myself so im glad somebody else likes it, as far as i know, there is only myself and danek who love final fantasy and i dont think many other ATS know that much about it. Okays anyway, im final fantasy mad, or should i say i was when i was younger, but even though im 21 now, you never truly stop enjoying something which i love so much.
Ok now to reference yours:
FF VII: Absolutley amazing, 10/10, just brilliant, storyline is immense, awesome music, good and in- depth dialogue combined with epic storyline twists, battles are also great. (Got to the end of disc 4, but didnt complete it). Maybe my second or third favourite.
Crisis core, Dirge of cerberous, dissidia: never played them, i assumed that the were not RPG's as final fantasy normal is, but more like shoot em ups, which is why i wasnt intrested.
FF X: Again an absolute epic, 10/10, loved it. I cant decide between this one, or final fantasy 7 for second spot, but its brilliant. Again some of the music is fantastic, storyline is gripping and incorperated more thrilling twists. (completed it twice)
FF X-2: A disapointing disgrace to final fantasy, story line isnt too bad, but the battles are tedious and drawn out, as well as awkward, and there are loads of irrelavant and boring side-missions which need to be completed in order to progess. (Although i got to the end of it, i didnt complete it, and i practically disown it as final fantasy) Although the best ending isnt bad, (multiple endings watched on youtube)
FF IX: brilliant game, another superb storyline, great battles, epic cutscenes, some great music, another epic fiction. (end of the game, but not completed)
FFXII: a great game, but not quite up to par with 8,7 or 10. Rivals 9 but i was dissapointed in the limited amount of dialogue in some parts, also at times u feel like you are running around aimlessly, however the dialogue that was there was really good. But the battles system was tiresome and took so getting used too. But all in all, very very good, and the charicters are brilliant too, (especially Balthier, he's got such dry but awesome sense of humor xD) Lacking the epic music that other final fantasy's have. Completed.
MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE:
FF VIII: Out of any fiction that has ever exsisted be it a game, a film, or a book, from lord of the rings, to star wars, to harry potter, final fantasy 8 tops them all, it is my total favourite and a fiction that i would love to live, competed it multiple times, its just amazing to me, epic story line, both euphoric and emotional music, battles are brilliant, i love the charicters, cut scenes are awesome, ending is fantasic, the story line twists and revelations are unbelievable, simply epic. I was also unbeatable at this game, my junctions pwned, i had charicters that just couldnt be beaten.
I loved and still do love every second of the game, plus it lasts for ages, its probably the longest final fantasy, if not the longest game to complete. Words cannot describe my feelings on this game. Just total EUPHORIA
FF XI: Its an online addition, ive never played it..........
Also: ive never watched a final fantasy movie, im not a huge fan of anime films, i would like to see ff8 remade into a real film, but i'd probably be disappointed.

FFXIII: I havent a PS3 but im considering getting one in the foreseeable future. Although reviews for it dont sound great, appearently there has been a massive hype for it which according to some critics, i doesnt fullfill, time will tell...........
